New Metro Insights Portal: Context - Reminder
We launched the new Metro Insights Portal on Wednesday,13th May!
In the context of technological updates you must have noticed a new login screen page landing to Metro Insights Portal (by default).
What did change?
Metro Insights Portal is now allowing:
- A more modern, secure login interface
- One unique platform for accessing Shop & dhAssortment, one link to consider
- Better centralization and faster process
- Easier for any scalability

What must to be done to access the new Metro Insights Portal?
1) You have received an email asking you to accept an invitation to transition to the new system on Wednesday 13th May.
You can be sure that this email is not a spam by confirming the following details:
-Sender: Service Desk Announcements
-Subject: dunnhumby | Let’s get you set up with your new login for your company
Don’t forget to check your spam folder if you have not received it.
2) If you have not done so far: click on the link (in the email) to accept the invitation. You will be asked to set up a new password. Once logged in, you'll find a streamlined homepage (Metro Insights Portal) with link to all dh tools you have access to. This same URL will be shared with any new user when setting up new dh accounts: Customer Portal
From the Metro Insights Portal, you will access to:
- Shop: you will be able to view old reports and run new reports.
- dhAssortment: you will be able to view old reports in myfiles and run new reports (if included in your contract).

KEEP IN MIND:
- Metro Insights Portal will be your landing page, providing access to all products available under your contract. We strongly advise you to bookmark this URL and use it directly: Customer Portal
- Shop and dhAssortment previous URL will still be working in future. Shop & dhA history will be preserved in its entirety.

PLEASE NOTE:
- You won't be able to access Shop and dhAssortment until you accept the invitation!
- You have 30 days to accept the invitation after you have received the email on May 13th. Otherwise, the link will expire.
- If you are not able to locate the email, please start by checking your spams then reach out to shopcanada@dunnhumby.com for assistance.
New User Account Creation System: speed & security

Speed and Convenience
FROM MAY 13TH: When a new user account is created, user will:
- Receive instantaneously the email notification to get access to "Accept Invite" option and be directed to Metro Insights Portal
- Access to the training documentation from this email by clicking on the interactive link
- Land on Metro Insights Portal and access to Shop and dhAssortment from there
BENEFITS
- Wait up to 1.5 hours (only!) to access Shop from the Metro insights portal
- Reduces wait times and frustration (maximum 1.5h instead of 2 days)
- Minimizes potential issues associated with sending passwords
